Steps to setup the Integration:
- First connect your Facebook Ads Manager account under the "Ads Network" section on the Integrations page.
- Once connected, data can be exported to Facebook in two ways:
- Bulk audience upload from the Contacts page.
- Real-time events and contact exports from the Integrations page.
- Select from existing audiences in Facebook, or
- Create a new custom audience in Facebook and upload users there.
- You can choose to export events, contacts, or both to Facebook.
- Specific events also can be selected for export.
- Once "Connect with Facebook Custom Audience Export" is enabled under the Platforms section of the Integrations page, a "Nitro Smart Audience" is automatically created in Facebook.
- From that point onwards, all identified emails, phone numbers, and selected events will be exported to Facebook in near real-time under the "Nitro Smart Audience".
You must first Confirm the Custom Events before they can be exported to Facebook.
- Go to Events Manager → click on Overview.
- You will see a Custom Event error displayed. Click on Review.
- Click I Acknowledge.
- Select the events you want to export and click Next.
- Choose Confirm the Custom Event and click Confirm.
- Finally, click on Done.
To view uploaded Facebook users:
Go to Audiences → All Audiences → Select Audience → go to History to view rows of users being added.
To view Exported Contacts:
Go to Audiences → All Audiences → Nitro Smart Audience → go to History to view rows of users being added.
To view Exported Events:
Go to Events Manager → Overview. Once Custom Events are confirmed, events will begin appearing under the Overview section.
